Beara Gaa and the Beara Senior Football County Championship winning team 1997, held a hugely successful Golf Classic in the Bererhaven Golf Club. The Golf Classic which was sponsored by Beara Oil, was to support the future educational needs of James (8) and Molly (4) children of the team's goalkeeper Padraig Crowley and Gemma Crowley.
Teams from all over Cork and beyond travelled to play and support this fundraising drive.
After the golf prize presentation, a presentation was made to
the players and management from the Beara 1997 county
championship winning team.
The team will be honored at the County Final in Pair Ui Chaoimh as the silver jubilee team.
Beara Gaa would like to thank Berehaven Golf Club and all those who supported and helped out in anyway in making the weekend such a huge success.!!

A raffle will be held on the October bank holiday weekend,
with a wide variety of prizes available. Tickets cost €10 and

sale from members of the Beara 1997 team and management.
