Congratulations and best wishes Fr. Martin on your retirement

Fr. Martin Sheehan retired as Parish Priest of Adrigole last during the week. Family Friends and parishioners turned up to give Fr. Martin a good send off and to thank him for his hard work and dedication to the Parish. A number of presentations were made to him on behalf of the parish. Sacristan, Mary Harrington made the first presentation and Eleanor Lynch parish secretary made the second presentation. A group from the parish treated everyone to refreshments and he was presented with a cake which was the highlight of the evening. The cake had the Adrigole and "Town" crest separated by a rosary beads. A great evening was had by all and I was delighted to be invited to be part of the night. Canon Noel Spring takes over the parish duties.

Best of luck on your retirement Fr. Martin but I have no doubt you be still busy helping everyone out!
