Scoil Phobail Bhéara U15's played Glanmire Coláiste an Phiarsaigh today. Following the match the principal, Micheál Ó Tuama, presented a framed Glanmire Jersey, to Adrigole Gaa Club in memory of John (Lack)) O Sullivan who passed away in November 2002. John had been a teacher in Glanmire for many years and it was their way of remembering their colleague.
Accepting the jersey, on behalf of Adrigole Gaa was Kevin Green, Susan O Sullivan, Eddie Jer O Sullivan, and Joseph Blake, Cork PRO .
Micheál met John's mother, Mary and aunt Margaret.
Sean B O Sullivan and Daniele Healy, who played for Beara with John, were also at the match.
A fitting tribute, to a great sports man who passed before his time!!
