There is nothing better than the light of a lovely sunrise or sunset!! We all look forward to longer days but as a photographer those longer days means an earlier start in the morning to catch the light!! So a 6.30am start while it is very early, it also does have its advantages. Traffic is light and it's quite and peaceful with just the birds singing for company, while enjoying the sun rising and watch the colours change every few minutes!
You couldn't ask for a better start to the day.
The first is taken at Cahermore looking over the pier and back towards Gour just before the sun came up!! The cloud and bird in the sky adds a nice interest to the picture!! and The second and third picture are taken at the Top of Gour just as the sun had risen over Bere Island. The beauty of mother nature!!!
