The Longest Road Fundraiser by Garnish Gaa cheque presentation

The Matron of Castletownbere Hospital, Maureen O Neill receives a cheque from Chairman of Garnish Gaa, Eric O Neill, for €6,250 half of the proceeds from a very successful 24 hour run/walk called “the longest road” named because the club is the furthest West. A joint fundraising effort for the club and hospital. They originally hoped to raise €4,00, but like all fundraising events in Beara people are always great to support any fundraising appeal.
